We Take Pride in Every Lawn we Touch

My name is David Conley, I was a jack of all trades until 2003 when I took a job on a lawn mowing crew with the city of Tallahassee Parks Department. soon to follow a Horticulture position became available in Downtown Tallahassee. I applied, and lo and behold I was a horticulture technician and taking care of some of Tallahassee’s most beautiful Parks and most visible landscape sites. Time went on and I acquired competencies that i never knew I needed along with more responsibilities. I had become a leader and someone the crew could count on to inform and train them in all things horticulture. In early 2019 I began thinking about new challenges. I was thinking about what my grandfather had said many times “Always work for yourself to be truly happy”. After 16 fruitful years, I decided to take the leap, retire and start my own company. That is how “Rare Earth Lawn Care” came to fruition. So as we begin this journey, I say “we” now as my son is joining me in this adventure, I hope that you can join it with us. See you on your lawn!
