Dan Latimer – Amerifirst Home Mortgage

Loan originator Daniel W. Latimer – Zabor also known as “Dan the Mortgage Man” started his mortgage banking career 24 years ago after leaving the family funeral business in Parma, Ohio.

After six years with a local bank, Dan moved on to better serve his clients through the mortgage banking platform. The move has increased his ability to help the growing needs of his clients, their families and friends who are the lifeline of his business. Dan prides himself on listening to the needs of his clients so that he can structure their home financing to help strengthen their financial future.

Dan is a graduate of Cuyahoga Community College and a current member of the Cleveland Akron Area Board of Realtors. Dan helped to keep the money straight as the Treasurer of the Women’s Council of Realtors. Dan has numerous customer service awards. Dan concentrates in First Time Home buyer programs that utilize down payment assistance. Well versed in Conventional, FHA, FHA 203K and conventional renovation loans.

Dan lives in North Olmsted, OH and is married to his wonderful and understanding wife Gina! His family includes two adult children, Jessica and Nick. Dan and Gina’s resident second family members include their 10 year old Maltese dog, “Mr. Personality” Luigi, and the “Tasmanian Devil” Lola, a Maltese mix, recently rescued from Cleveland dog pound.
