After 30 years of serving in the home-improvement industry and being a third-generation home builder & remodeler, it was Duane Charping’s dream to follow in his father’s and grandfather’s footsteps as a business owner that could bring incredible value and service to his community.

Working as a Sales Manager and GM in big box stores, Duane was mentored by some of the best service providers in the nation. He knew that it would not take long to change the standards in an industry that has cultivated so many fly-by-night and unscrupulous contractors. Many of these contractors will shortcut the project with improper installation techniques just to make a quick buck, unbeknownst to their clients. He also knew by adding some simple core values like inspecting what we expect and to follow the manufacturer’s installation specifications for the application of their products, we would produce a better quality experience for our customers. Applying these core values day in and day out, quickly caught the eye of GAF (North American’s Largest Roofing Manufacturer) and they awarded Roof Fix with the honor of the GAF Master Elite Contractor designation that places us in the top 1% of roofers North America. Roof Fix’s accolades include winning the prestigious Angie’s List Super Service award in 2016, 2017 & 2018, ranking us the #1 roofing company in San Antonio and South Texas.
