Justin began his HVAC career in Athens in 2002, learning the basics as a sheet metal mechanic. He learned how to fabricate, assemble and install commercial, industrial and residential ducting and flashing. He earned his EPA Universal Certification and completed NARS Tech training in 2006. In 2009, he advanced to an HVAC Installer when he started at Garrison & Garrison. During his 3 years at Garrison & Garrison, Justin perfected his skills in HVAC system removal and installation, along with whole duct system replacements. He learned about quality control and customer service. In 2011, Justin earned his NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Certifications in Air Distribution Installation & Service and Gas Furnace Installation & Service. Justin transitioned into more large-scale commercial work in 2012 when he joined Lennox National Account Services (NAS). During his 4 years with Lennox NAS, Justin became an efficient and knowledgeable independent service technician. His service territory covered all of North Alabama, including such businesses as Lowe’s, Walgreens, Wal-Mart and Lens Crafters. Justin expanded his NATE Certifications to include Air Conditioning Installation & Service, and Air-to-Air Heat Pump Installation & Service. During his time at Lennox NAS, he received continuing education in service, mechanical codes and installations. He was recommended for the Branch Manager position but decided to start his own company instead! Justin earned his Alabama State HVAC Contractor License in 2015 and began Craig Comfort Control shortly thereafter.
